MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST PROGRAM
MEDICAL OFFICE TRAINING IN OCALA
CTAE's Medical Administrative Specialist program offers a broad foundation of medical office training, knowledge and skills that expand the traditional role of Medical Secretary and prepare participant for employment in variety of office positions. Career opportunities for students who complete the curriculum also extend well beyond the medical field.
For completing the courses, students will earn a Certificate of Completion for the Medical Administrative Specialist and be prepared for the following certifications: Ready to Work, Internet Core Computing (IC3) and Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access).

| This course is designed to prepare students for the keyboarding and computer fundamentals required in an office and introduces students to current applications software programs. |

| This course covers information systems, workplace communications, administrative office procedures, as well as human relations and job readiness skills, while improving computer application skills. |

Medical Office Technologist |
| This course covers medical office procedures, medical terminology, specialized medical software and documents used in the medical office. |
| |
| OTA0651 |
Medical Administrative Specialist |
| This course includes emergency management procedures, insurance fraud, OSHA regulations and transcription of medical office documents, along with opportunities for externships. |
