LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST PROGRAM
EDUCATION FOR LEGAL ADMINISTRATION
Students interested in working in law offices and other legal settings can acquire the skills they need with CTAE's Legal Administrative Specialist program. The program provides a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, expanding the traditional role of the Legal Secretary for employment in office positions in the legal arena and beyond.
For completing the courses, students will earn a Certificate of Completion for the Legal Administrative Specialist and be prepared for the following certifications: Ready to Work, Internet Core Computing (IC3) and Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access).

| This course is designed to prepare students for the keyboarding and computer fundamentals required in an office and introduces students to current applications software programs. |

| This course covers information systems, workplace communications, administrative office procedures, as well as human relations and job readiness skills, while improving computer application skills. |

| This course focuses on legal workplace communications, management and supervision and enhances technical reading, writing and legal terminology and document production using current computer applications software and transcription. |

Legal Administrative Specialist |
| This course prepares students for legal office functions and responsibilities, along with opportunities for externships in legal environments. |
