COMMERCIAL FOODS & CULINARY ARTS PROGRAM

COOKING UP SUCCESSFUL FUTURES WITH CULINARY TRAINING

The food service industry continues to expand at a pace guaranteeing a steady demand for students in the commercial foods and culinary arts field. Chefs and cooks with culinary arts training are needed by vast array of businesses and organizations. Restaurants, caterers, hotels, private clubs, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and more all hire culinary staff.

Students of CTAE's Culinary Arts Academy receive classroom instruction and hands-on practice in the preparation, decoration, and presentation of soups, salads, sauces, poultry, fish, meats, side dishes, breads and desserts. Food safety is also emphasized.

Our training facilities boast a restaurant serving up to 300 people per day and a catering service, which allows the student to experience set-up, service, presentation and the use of a short order grill.
